1. Subliminal advertising - do you see what I see? I saw this sign at a gas station and couldn't stop laughing...
2. Old school Broncos - Leading Man and I are getting one of these as soon as we can afford one. The perfect California beach vehicle.
3. Red Lips - Need I say more?
4. The promise of hot summer weather that will undoubtedly make me crabby - but, hey - I can dream about the heat for now - it's freezing!
5. Yogurt pretzels - Seriously, if you've never had them, get into your car, drive to the store, and buy some NOW. I literally have NO self control with these things.

As Bright As The Sun
Lately I've been finding myself shying away from my standard neutral wardrobe must haves and going for bright, neon hues - very un-Superblonde like. But in the past week, I've purchased not one, but TWO cobalt blue blazers, a neon pink pleated skirt (more on this item to come), a cobalt blue sports bra, a bright pink drape-y dress, and a limey citrus hued sleeveless blouse. I'm looking forward to the current FREEZING FOR LA temps to hop back into the 70's and 80's so I can bring these items out to play!
Are you loving the bright hues?!
Alexander McQueen - Savage Beauty
Must have book I discovered in Urban Outfitters on Melrose. The only copy was tattered and expensive - but I'm keeping an eye out on Amazon for a cheapie.

Life puts someone in front of me to remind me that there is still so much good.
Let me tell you a little about Love and Beauty...
Maybe it's Time to Slow it All Down
So, I understand that I live in L.A. and everything: a land where it's perfectly socially acceptable to simultaneously carry on three different conversations (face to face, texting, and on the computer). It never really even bothers me, because I look at it as a sign that everyone here is so completely insane dedicated and driven. L.A. is a city of very hard working people. That being said, sometimes it's time to put down the work and RELAX!
While hiking, I passed by a woman looking like this:
